ABOUT Tierney
I have been working with dogs since 2003; most of those years have been with working border collies. I ran in USBCHA with my first collie, Blazin' Brisco, placing 10th overall, and received Rookie of the Year at our first National Finals in Nursery in 2010. Originally my interest was in horses before my career moved toward working dogs, but I've always loved training and working with animals. Born to a family of engineers and attorneys, I was the black sheep in the family, so to speak, but nothing would get in the way of my desire to work with animals. I love raising pups and starting young dogs. That first glimpse into a dog's talent is my favorite part of this sport.
Training Philosophy
Alway when working with peoples pets it is to find the right method of training for their dogs, to get the best possible outcome for them. I try to work as a support for my clients to help them accomplish training goals.

My personal goal with my own dogs is to maintain the highest standard for the working Border Collie by embodying excellence on the trail field and working proof on the farm. My breeding and training produces dogs that have both the brains, and ability, to exceed expectations.
